There is a minimum group charge of 25 people to make a weekend booking.

Regular Group Rental Package
This package provides accommodation, meals and snacks. We take great pride in our cuisine and use fresh, local ingredients to prepare nutritious meals. (This pricing structure does not cover weddings.)
Regular package includes:
- Two nights’ accommodation
- Five meals (Saturday Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner; Sunday Breakfast & Lunch) and daily snacks provided. Special dietary needs are accommodated. Optional Friday dinner available at an additional cost.
- Check-in time is 5pm on Friday and check-out time is no later than 12pm on Sunday.
- Exclusive use of the site and facilities.
- Complimentary use of audio-visual equipment: TV/DVD, projection screen, white boards, easels
- Complimentary use of sports equipment
- Optional programming available at an additional cost

Wedding Packages
When you book your camp wedding at the Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre you book out our entire facility. Enjoy two-nights exclusive use of our secluded 5-hectare site to use as your own private wilderness park for your big day. Come and celebrate your love with a wilderness wedding at the Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre, full of rustic charm, off the grid goodness, and natural beauty.
Basic Group Rental Package
This package provides accommodation only. Cook your own food in our covered outdoor kitchen.(This pricing does not cover weddings).
Please note that, due to severe allergy concerns, we prohibit any foods that contain nuts or traces of nuts.
Basic package includes:
- Two nights’ accommodation
- Check-in time is 5pm on Friday and check-out time is no later than 12pm on Sunday.
- Exclusive use of the site and facilities, including Canoe Room in the Main lodge
- Complimentary use of audio-visual equipment: TV/DVD, projection screen, white boards, easels
- Complimentary use of sports equipment (basketball, volleyball, soccer, broomball, lacrosse, Frisbee)
- Optional programming available at an additional cost

Where is this magical place?
The Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre is located overseas on the Upper Sunshine Coast, a 15-minute drive from downtown Powell River. From Vancouver, it’s a pleasurable (we promise) two-ferry, five-hour commute by vehicle, or a 20-minute flight from YVR. From Vancouver Island, it’s across the Salish Sea from Comox.
Day Rental Package
Bring your group up to the Centre for the day. You supply the activities or choose optional programming available at an additional cost. Minimum charge of 25 people, maximum 100.

Staffing for Outdoor Programs
Programs managed by our staff including climbing wall, team-building, leadership, watercraft, or waterfront activities are priced separately at the rate of $150.00 per staff person up to a 2.5 hour shift. For these activities, staff management is mandatory.
We work at a staff to participant ratio of 1 to 12 or fewer. We require at least three week’s notice for programming requests in order to schedule staff. Program staff may be limited on holiday weekends.
