Weddings Packages
When you book your camp wedding at the Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre you book out our entire facility.
Enjoy two nights exclusive use of our secluded 5-hectare site to use as your own private wilderness park for your big day. Come and celebrate your love with a wilderness wedding at the Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre, full of rustic charm, off-the-grid goodness, and natural beauty.
Each year we make the Centre available for up to four weddings; please inquire about upcoming date availability. Our wedding package begins at 3:30 pm on Friday and ends Sunday at 1:00pm and includes use of our entire grounds. You’ll have use of our various accommodations options as well as access to our Main Lodge and Canoe Room, field, waterfront, fire pit area, gazebo, amphitheater, forest and waterfront trails to stage your event.

| Event catering |
The Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Centre has a delicious Wedding Event Menu for you to enjoy a reception meal befitting your wedding. All Event Menu meal choices will be served on ceramic dishware with water goblets, wineglasses, table linens, and napkins included. Staff will clear plates and top up water during a reception meal. Buffet or family style service is available.
We also offer an affordable Camp Menu for all other meals. All meals served are made in-house from scratch. The Camp Menu meals include a simpler menu served buffet style. Guests put their scraps in the compost bin, dishes on the cart, and wipe down their tables at the end of the meal.
If you are interested in having us take care of the food, we’ll arrange a consultation with our Executive Chef to review the choices. All meals prices are based on a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 90 guests. |

| Activities for Guests |
A team of programmers can be included in your Buy-Out Fee. On the Saturday, these staff can lead your guests in camp activities like Rock wall, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, boat tours or other activities of your choice. There are abundant opportunities for hiking, excellent swimming, field games, relaxing and lounging for guests who would like.
We also rent our Canoes, Paddle Boards, Mountain Bikes and other equipment. Guests must pay damage deposit and sign liability waivers and Rental Agreements. |
